Health Education Access Lab (HEAL)
Want to quit smoking? Traveling out of the country and want
information on that country? Then come to the Health Education
Access Lab in the basement of the Student Health Center. There are
computers with programs on them that can help you quit smoking, learn new
things about countries you are traveling to, and other information to help
you become healthier. There are also books to look at and a nice
relaxing atmosphere.
Dietary Analysis
Your 3-day food intake is taken and inputted into a
software program that will analyze your diet and define your nutrient
needs including calories, carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins,
minerals, and fluids. The program can determine the nutrients you are
lacking and/or consuming in excess. Based on your height, weight, age,
and activity level, a diet specific to your needs can be created.
